Gaillac is one of France's oldest vineyards: two thousand years of vines between the Tarn and the Grésigne forest, and a unique ampelography — mauzac, loin-de-l'œil, duras, braucol, prunelard. A vineyard for sale in the Tarn attracts a generation of winemakers who have turned these native grapes into a manifesto.

Gaillac land remains accessible and supply is real: family takeovers, organic estates, hillside plots. Toulouse's proximity and Albi's rise support direct sales and wine tourism.

Right bank, premières côtes, Cordes plateau

The Tarn's right bank and the premières côtes hold the historic limestone terroirs — where the finest values trade; the left bank, on gravels and boulbènes, offers the mechanisable surfaces; toward Cordes-sur-Ciel, the plateau charms with its landscapes and buildings.

Gaillac's ancestral-method sparkling and mauzac whites carry the appellation's new image: estates equipped for these productions are valued above the running market.
