According to DVF data (the French land-transaction register), the median price of vineyards in Pyrénées-Orientales stands at €13,175/ha over 2020-2025, based on 1,041 recorded transactions. The average price comes to €19,372/ha. The median price, less affected by extreme values than the average, is the most reliable benchmark for valuing a vineyard in this area.

Between 2020 and 2025, the median price rose by 5% (€13,279/ha → €13,918/ha). The average price followed a different path (it fell by 5% over the same period), a sign of a heterogeneous market where a few large sales weigh heavily on the average.
Recorded transactions range from €4,085/ha to €83,492/ha. This spread reflects the diversity of the properties sold: appellation, grape varieties, the condition of the vines and the presence of farm buildings all drive large differences in value.

The appellation hierarchy is pronounced: from an average of €7,000/ha for Rivesaltes et Grand Roussillon up to €20,500/ha for Banyuls et Collioure. On average, across all appellations, SAFER values the department's vineyards at €9,800/ha.
