The Entrance

There is a large open plan kitchen/living room with its fireplace, two ground floor bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms, and upstairs is a large dormitory, another bedroom and two shower rooms. The gÃte has previously been used for walkers as well as holiday makers and needs a bit of modernizing to make it more comfortable.

Eco-property
According to the owners:
Since 2000, successive owners have used eco-friendly materials such as sanded lime slabs on the ground floor, and formaldehyde-free floor tiles upstairs, cellulose wadding insulation, and lime finishes and paints.
The drainage system for the guest house is a phyto treatment system which is self-sufficient and uses plant-based purification. A cascade of pools equipped with plant filters has been designed to function for up to 14 people. In terms of upkeep, all that is required is weeding and the removal of plants that proliferate every year.
Each bathroom in the gÃte offers the dual option of dry or conventional toilets.
There are 20m² of solar panels which supply hot water from March to November.
