Oak forest 16 ha - Saône et Loire

With a surface area of 16.1510 hectares, the Bois de la Morte is located in the
department of Saône-et-Loire (71), in the town of Saint-Didier-en-Bresse 20 minutes away
from Châlon-sur-Saône, 40 minutes from Beaune and less than an hour from Dole.
The forest is not subject to a management plan.
The property is part of the Saône, Bresse and Dombes sylvo-ecoregion.
The average temperature of around 11°C
The stands are made up of oaks, locust trees, ash trees and elms.
The forest is part of the category of loamy plateaus of Bresse Chalonnaise predominantly
forest, with luvisols as the dominant soil.

Oak represents the dominant species of the plot.
Also presence of black locust, ash and cherry trees.
